Lalia Hays is a dancer, actor, model, and filmmaker based in NYC.

She comes from a pre professional ballet background (trained at Joffrey Ballet NYC), and was pursuing a ballet career until she had to stop with an injury at 17. She then started acting and has trained with coaches Bob Krakower, Welker White, and Vance Barber among others.

As an actor she’s worked on indie films that have played at festivals including Bushwick Film Festival, Montclair Film Festival, and Buffalo International Film Festival. She can also be seen in The Mongoose on Amazon Prime.

She recently directed her first film How Are We Feeling Today? that is currently being submitted to festivals, after wrapping shooting in Sep 2024 and finishing post production in July 2025. She wrote HAWFT based off her experience with eating disorder recovery, starred in it, and produced it with Amanda Quaid & Wiley Water Productions.

Lalia is a proud queer artist and is passionate about telling queer stories, and working with other creatives to increase representation on screen and behind the camera.
